WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

• If you decide against Inn at Ellis Square, then you can use any travel website to get better deals
  on hotels like orbitz /priceline/expedia (they also offer great hotel+flight packages)

  • if you stay 3+ nights, vacation rentals are cheaper

  • some rentals even offer lower minimums and are cheap as well

• Different locations to stay in:

  • Historic District: Stay above Oglethorpe Ave/Liberty St & towards the center at Drayton St

  • Forsyth Park Area is great, but you might want to consider renting a car

  • Midtown area has the cheapest hotels, the malls, and the movie theaters, but is far down

  • Tybee Island has the beach, but you definitely need a car

• It can range anywhere from $140 to $300 & depends on how long you stay; Wed-Wed is the cheapest!

 

SHOULD I RENT A CAR?

• YES! >> If you want to go to the beach or are staying near Forsyth Park/Midtown area

  • Be prepared to drive in circles around the squares for parking   ||   There will be free parking at the venue!

• NO! >> If you are staying in the Historic District and plan on just walking around

  • You can walk as far as Forsyth Park, but be prepared for a 20+ minute walk
